The guide deserves excellent ratings. Alexia made everything very enjoyable, and we learned a lot. Civitatis and the company they hired in Canada are very irresponsible. They arranged to meet us in one square and never informed us that they had changed locations. It was by chance that we went to The Ring and saw them already leaving. Alexia apologized on your behalf, and what are you going to say???

Translate this opinion into English.

The tour wasn't very interesting at the beginning, but the second half was much more so. The guide wasn't able to engage the group with his stories. He was too focused on the story without interacting with the people. I honestly didn't like his way of telling the story. Many people in the group were disinterested.

Translate this opinion into English.

The group consisted of about 20 people. Our guide, Rafael, was very friendly and gave us a great tour, providing lots of information about the history and the city. However, given the size of the group, they should have provided him with a device so we could hear the explanations, as it was sometimes difficult to hear the information. Unlike other guides in Toronto and Quebec, who announced a $30 tip before the tour began, here everyone tipped at the end. It was odd, though, because he kept asking and noting down what we gave him.

Very good, Bernardo spent three hours with us, telling us interesting things about the city. It's a tour for those who want to learn more about Montreal than just the usual tourist attractions. If you only have a day or an afternoon to explore the city, this isn't the tour for you because it doesn't take you to the typical historical sites. However, if you have more time, it's definitely the tour for you to delve deeper into the city and its hidden gems. Opinion translated. Show original.

I believe a guide should be friendly, approachable, and empathetic. Bernardo was not. He didn't identify himself with a red umbrella, or anything else for that matter, at the beginning. It wasn't easy to find him. He demanded flexibility from the participants, but he didn't demonstrate it himself, and that's also a sign of professionalism when working with groups. The historical and cultural references were interesting but disjointed in terms of time. More references to the city's origins and evolution would have been welcome.

Translate this opinion into English.

Bernardo was very friendly and entertaining, and it was clear he enjoys culture. The tour is very comprehensive and combines modern Montreal with old Montreal. However, if you have any mobility issues, however minor, or walk slowly, this tour isn't for you. It's a very fast-paced tour. Personally, I like it that way, but I completely understand that for some, it might have felt uncomfortably quick. I would definitely do it again, and it's worth the $30 per person tip. Translate this opinion into English.

The guide Bernardo was boring in his explanations, he took us through unimportant alleys. He jumped from one topic to another, it was very little educational. He knew a lot about the city but was very unengaging and very boring. He couldn't capture our attention, the tour became very tedious. Opinion translated. Show original.

The activity started 10 minutes late due to the guide. There was little connection with the group. The guide had good historical knowledge but lacked fluency, and offered little practical and useful guidance for tourists. Overall, the entire group, with experience in tours of this type, agreed that it could have been much better.

The tour was conducted in Spanish because the French tour had been cancelled the day before. The guide was very easy to understand. I was disappointed by the lack of connection with the group. Questions were not welcome. I felt the tour was disorganized and the explanations were somewhat disjointed.

Translate this opinion into English.

A great tour to start discovering the unique features of this city. Bernardo was a fantastic guide, even though the rainy day wasn't ideal for sightseeing. I would definitely do it again; we only had a day and a half to see the city and we left with a very positive impression! Opinion translated. Show original.

¡ Translate this opinion into English.

He was also very friendly and approachable with the whole group from the start, and it's clear he enjoys what he does. It's so nice to find guides like him, because they completely transform the experience. Highly recommended if you want to discover Montreal in an entertaining and authentic way! Opinion translated.
